Boise!!!

We went to Boise this past weekend to visit Scott's brother, Tim, and his family. Here are some pics from the trip.

This is Cerise learning about sound at the Discovery Center.

SOLD!!!!!

Okay, so you probably figured out from the last post that our house sold. We shampooed carpets on Friday and then went to Boise for the weekend to visit Scott's brother. While we were there our realtor called and asked if she could show the house, even though it wasn't all put together. We agreed, but those people ended up buying another house. So, we listed it on Monday, had 1 showing on Monday night, and 3 viewings of it on Tuesday, and received an offer on Tuesday night. The offer was a bit low, so we countered, he then counter-countered, and finally we counter-counter-countered, and last night we both signed a mutual acceptance agreement. So, our house is officially under contract now. We close on June 20 (he still has a lease, and we don't really want to be in an apartment for very long). Anyway, although it was a stressful couple of days, with lots of people in and out of our house (and us having to keep it emmaculate) we are done with that process and are VERY grateful that it went quickly. I'll post pics from our trip soon (maybe tomorrow or Saturday).

Tagged Again (this time it's a weird one)

Okay, so I was tagged by Calise.

You are supposed to take pictures of 10 things:
(Thankfully Calise caught me this week, when our house is perfectly clean because it was on the market)

#1: The Kitchen Sink

#2: The inside of your fridge

#3: Your favorite pair of shoes
I bought these at Good Will (they had never been worn) last summer and I think they have been on my feet every single day since (at least once per day)

#4: The inside of my closet

#5: The laundry pile
Again, the house was on the market, so we had to keep the laundry done

#6: What your kids are doing right now
Cerise is watching Curious George...

...and Morgan is Sleeping

#7 Favorite room in the house
My favorite room is actually our back yard. We have an amazing back yard (in fact THAT is what sold our house)!!!

#8 The toilet
Weird, I know.

#9: Fantasy Vacation:
I don't really have one, really anywhere foreign would be cool

#10: Self-Portrait
I was trying to get a pic that didn't make me look fat, but I guess you can't take a picture of what doesn't exist

And I won't even tag anyone specific. If you look at my and you want to do this tag, go for it.

A Rather Boring Day

Hello. I am sitting here being bored on my birthday because EVERYONE is sleeping. It is kind of nice actually. Scott is working the night shift this weekend, so I barely saw him today, although he did surprise me with breakfast in bed this morning when he got home...a McDonald's bacon, egg, and cheese buiscuit complete with hash brown and orange juice. It was cute, he even unwrapped it and put it on a real plate. Cerise is going to a birthday party for a friend today, so I made her take a nap, and it is Morgan's regular nap time, so it is quiet. I love that sound!!! During Cerise's party, a friend and I are going to Olive Garden for soup, salad, and breadsticks...yum. Anyway, just thought I'd post a quick update. Everyone is doing great this week. We are getting things closer to being able to put the house on the market. That will probably happen in the next 2 weeks, so we are excited but working hard. Everyone is healthy and happy. Hope everyone out there reading this is also healthy and feeling good!!

Easter (and a HUGE carrot)

I think the pictures pretty much explain themselves, so enjoy. (I'm sure there is an easy and free way to share lots of pics, but I don't know how yet. If you know, please enlighten me.)

Acrobatics

This is a huge carrot that Scott happened upon while digging up last year's garden.

And, finally for the news you've all been waiting for, we are getting ready to sell our house, so this is Scott re-doing our patio to help our yard look better.
