Tree Decorating

One of the first things we did when we moved in was to put up our tree. The girls had fun, and Tyson tried to get into it, which is very normal. Click on the image to zoom.

It Came Upon a Midnight Clear

We spent Family Home Evening last week building this very interesting Nativity. It didn't work the way it was supposed to, but in the end, with lots of hot glue, it finally turned out pretty cute.

Settling in

We recently moved out of Mom's house (long story, but I will just say, her mission is postponed for at least a year and a half, and so we are no longer going to house-sit for her), and into a rental house. We are really enjoying having our space back and also all our stuff out of storage (and I'm LOVING the purging of stuff that I've been doing. Scott, well, he's not enjoying the purging so much!) Anyway, we decided to sell our big highchair and get one that attaches to our kitchen chairs (which I found on Craigslist for $15 bucks, yay!) Tyson was loving it!

Let it Snow!

For Thanksgiving we went to IF to visit family. The first night there, it snowed. The girls had a blast out playing in it before it melted!

Morgan spent the whole time sitting in this "little house" eating the snow.

If you look really closely, you can see the piece of snow she is trying to lick off of her top lip!

Cerise and her cousin decided to have a snowball fight. It doesn't look like it, but even Evie was enjoying it.

MIA

I know I've been lacking in the blogging business lately but let me tell you what the past two months has held:

Scott's wisdom teeth got yanked and several resulting Dr's appointments
Marching Band competition with several added rehearsals
Week-long vacation to Oregon Coast (I WILL get pictures up eventually!)
My wisdom teeth got drilled, chiseled, and finally yanked out and several Dr's appointments
Scott's eyes were lasered and MANY resulting Dr's appointments
6-day trip to IF to visit family
Got keys to our new rental house 2 days after returning from IF
Moving in slowly (almost done!)
Mom had major surgery and subsequently I spent most of 2 1/2 days at her place helping out

I do have some really cute pics of the kids and I will take some of our new place as soon as it is presentable, but right now I'm exhausted!
