Paying it Forward

I found this on my friend Marla's blog:

The first 3 people to leave a comment on this will receive a hand made gift from me during this year. When and what will be a surprise.
There's a small catch...You knew there would be didn't you? Post this on your blog then come back and leave a comment, telling me you're in. Fun, huh?
Remember, only the first 3 comments receive the gift. Good luck!

Random February Fun

Just so you know, there are several new posts tonight, so keep scrolling!

February has been very eventful, and I am just now getting caught up. So, here is a quick recap of the past few weeks:

We got another ultrasound to check some stuff that they couldn't see the first time. It's still a boy. Isn't he cute?

Cerise got Fifths Disease aka Parvovirus. Not dangerous and not even bothersome to her, just kind of creepy to look at. She was COVERED from head to toe with this horrible rash:

We had some really fun hair days too. These first two are from her Valentine's Party at preschool, though she also had a Dr appt that day and EVERYONE was very impressed. She thought it was pretty cool:

This was just some random day, but I thought it was cute:

Our first attempt at curlers (Morgan's turned out REALLY bad so I didn't take a picture of it):

Hanging out, playing Wii tennis. This was the first time Morgan had played without help. As you can see, she was THRILLED!

I know she looks so scraggly in this picture, but she had been walking around all morning with two binkies in her mouth, and I had to take a picture. As if one wasn't enough???!!!

Putting on a show. Notice their nice "stage". I think they were singing "I Love to See the Temple"

In other news, Morgan is officially potty trained (HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!). She only wears diapers at night now.

GymFest 2009

The gym where Cerise has gymnastics had GymFest, a day of showing off your skills to folks. She went around to different stations and did different stuff and then got a trophy with her name on it at the end. Pretty fun!

The Party

Cerise had her birthday party a couple days before her birthday. Since we are still in our tiny apartment, we decided to have it at the local children's museum. It was SO fun!

Her Royal Highness!

My first attempt at actually decorating a cake. Nothing fancy, but I think it turned out cute!

Five

I can't believe my little girl is five!!! That's right ladies and gentlemen, Monday, at 3:04am, Jessica Cerise O'Connor will be five years old. How did that happen? Wasn't she supposed to stay little forever?? She is so excited to be five. She has been counting down for months!

So, a little walk down memory lane:

Almost 5

I can't believe how much she has grown and changed. She is one amazing little girl, and I am SOOO blessed to have her in my life. I love her with all my heart and I can't imagine my life without her. She makes me laugh every day with the crazy things she does. She makes her sister laugh about 50 times every day. She takes great care of Morgan, and even though they fight like crazy, NOBODY better mess with her little sister. She is the BEST big sister to Morgan and is SO excited for her baby brother to come. She is a great helper and loves to help me in the kitchen (on the rare occaisions that I'm in there). How did I get so lucky to have such an amazing daughter? Cerise, I love you. Love, Mommy.
