A Rather Boring Day
Hello. I am sitting here being bored on my birthday because EVERYONE is sleeping. It is kind of nice actually. Scott is working the night shift this weekend, so I barely saw him today, although he did surprise me with breakfast in bed this morning when he got home...a McDonald's bacon, egg, and cheese buiscuit complete with hash brown and orange juice. It was cute, he even unwrapped it and put it on a real plate. Cerise is going to a birthday party for a friend today, so I made her take a nap, and it is Morgan's regular nap time, so it is quiet. I love that sound!!! During Cerise's party, a friend and I are going to Olive Garden for soup, salad, and breadsticks...yum. Anyway, just thought I'd post a quick update. Everyone is doing great this week. We are getting things closer to being able to put the house on the market. That will probably happen in the next 2 weeks, so we are excited but working hard. Everyone is healthy and happy. Hope everyone out there reading this is also healthy and feeling good!!

Easter (and a HUGE carrot)
I think the pictures pretty much explain themselves, so enjoy. (I'm sure there is an easy and free way to share lots of pics, but I don't know how yet. If you know, please enlighten me.)

Acrobatics

This is a huge carrot that Scott happened upon while digging up last year's garden.

And, finally for the news you've all been waiting for, we are getting ready to sell our house, so this is Scott re-doing our patio to help our yard look better.

The Advanced Class
We just got home from gymnastics and the teachers want Cerise to move up to the more advanced class!!! She is currently in a class for 3-4 year olds because she had never done gymnastics until 4 weeks ago, but the teachers said that she listens really well and is doind most of the stuff by herself and at a higher level than the other kids in her class. So next week she will be moving up to the 4-6 year old class. We are so very proud of her and excited about her accomplishments!!!

somersaults and pigtails
Wow, a lot has happened this week, and I can't even begin to tell you about it yet. Probably next week, so stay tuned.
I just had to share some pics of Cerise and Morgan at Gymnastics this week, as well as some cute pictures of Morgan in her high chair this morning
Morgan just chillin' while we wait for Cerise

I'm not sure what this excercise was for.

Preparing to do a forward roll (also known as a somersault)

Rings

Gotta love those gorgeous blue eyes!!!!

How cute are those pigtails?!?!

Clothes Baskets and Gymnastics
This week was mostly uneventful. Grandma came over to do laundry and the girls had fun doing their favorite thing . . . riding in Grandma's laudry basket.

Cerise started Gymnastics last week, so this week was her second class. She amazes me. She has never done the things that most of the kids in her class have done, but she just jumps right in and does them. And she does them really well. None of the teachers could believe that this was the first time she has done gymnastics. I am so proud of her. She is amazing. (Plus she actually let me french braid her hair for the first time)

Yesterday we babysat 3 girls for some friends of ours. They ended up being at our house for about 12 1/2 hours. It was a long day with 5 little girls, the oldest of whom is 7, but we survived and the girls had tons of fun.

I am getting ready to go this coming weekend to Spokane for Time Out for Women, an event put on by our church that is a bunch of speakers and concerts and stuff all packed into a Friday and Saturday. Some friends and I are going and I am VERY excited.
Anyway, that is about all. Nothing too exciting, just life.

Some pics for my blog
A few pics of the girls.
Morgan laughing!!!

This is by far my favorite pic of Cerise. I took it a few days before her 4th b-day.

Too tired to even make it to bed.

Cerise got a bike for her 4th birthday. This is her 1st ride outside.

Morgan playing in Keyni's (the dog) bed.

Keyni

A really cute pic of Scott and Cerise.

Journeying into the world of blogging
So, after following the blogs of several friends, I finally decided that I would create my own. This way all our family and friends can keep up with what is happening in our world. So, here is my attempt at blogging. I hope to update this site every week (probably on Sunday) with as many pics as possible. So, here we embark on a journey into the world of blogging. Hope you enjoy!!!
