I've seen this on several of the blogs I follow, and I wasn't going to do it, but then I HAD to comment on my friend Calise's so now I have to post this on my own blog. Maybe it will even be fun.
Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time, or a long time, anything you remember!
Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.
If you leave a comment, I will do the same on your blog, and if you don't have a blog, we can email :) And if you have never commented, do it now so we can play "trip down memory lane".

Even Smarter than Before
Back in a Flash
Well, I will be heading off to girl's camp in the morning. For those of you who don't know, the girls in our church (ages 12-18) go on a week-long campout every summer. This summer it is only 12 and 13 year-olds since the older ones went on a pioneer trek earlier this summer.
Anyway, I was called and asked to be a recreation couselor at this year's camp. So, bright and early tomorrow morning I will be heading into the woods to camp. It will be an adventure as I have only camped twice since marrying Scott (he's more of a hotel kind of guy). I will be back on Friday afternoon. Scott is leaving on Tuesday to go to Baltimore for a conference for work. He will be gone until Saturday. The girls are spending the week with one of Grandma's friends for a couple of days and then the rest of the week with Grandma. So, there will be no posts until at least Saturday. Hope you all have a great week.

Here he comes!
Scott recieved the following letter yesterday:
Dear Mr. O’Connor:
NEI is honored to extend an offer to you to participate in the nuclear energy industry’s new speakers’ bureau, the Clean Energy America program.
As you know, this program will showcase some of our industry’s finest emerging talent in speaking tours before college campuses and similar venues. You were selected from a field of 66 candidates nominated by 24 companies. The quality of these candidates was consistently high and posed a real challenge in making our final selections.
Sincerely,
**********
I can't say how proud I am of him in earning this honor, first for being nominated by his company and then for being one of the 12 people, nation-wide to be accepted. He is very excited to be able to recieve specialized public speaking training and then to promote the concept of nuclear energy. It is something that he is very passionate about.
P.S. The picture is of him and a girl, also from his company, who was chosen.

Found!!
The girls and I came home from babysitting today to find Scott home with Keyni. Apparently he got stuck inside a gated fence in a nursery RIGHT ACROSS the STREET from us. They said they called teh number on the tag several times, then they were really smart and called the vets number from his rabies tag. The vet looked up the record number and found Scott's work number and called him. So, keyni is now singing..."I once was lost, but now I'm found." Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts sent our way. We know they helped a lot.

LOST!
Our dear dog Keyni is lost. Scott let him out to the bathroom when we got home from swimming today, and when he went to let him in, he wasn't on his chain. We have looked and looked, but we can't find him. The worst part is that we haven't changed his tags since we moved, so the phone number on his tag has been disconnected, so even if someone found him, they can't contact us. Cerise is worried sick. She will be heartbroken if we can't find him. Please pray with us that we will be able to find him, or that he will come home soon.

Happy 4th of July!!!
We had a great 4th of July. We went to a parade and then to a park with our friends the Barfuss's. Cerise had tons of fun, but Morgan wasn't so sure of the whole thing.
Then, after lunch, we went swimming at Grandma's apartment pool, which is much less crowded than ours. The girls had tons of fun swimming, and Cerise even got brave enough to jump in (after we bribed her with a Blizzard). I even took my brace off and jumped in with my clothes on. It was fun.

Here are a few other random pics from the past couple of weeks:

Cerise and her friend Scott climbing at the park.

Morgan wearing Cerise's goggles

Playing Polly Pockets

Trying to hide from the camera.

Concentrating.
