Where has the time gone?

Six months has passed since I met the most amazing little man. He has lit up our home with his quick smiles and eager laughter. He has brought out a mothering instinct in the girls that I didn't know existed. He has been an amazing addition to our lives. Saturday, Tyson turned 6 months old. I can't believe that 6 months has passed already. It feels like I just blinked and now he's a big boy who is on the verge of crawling. We love him so much! Today he had his 6 month check up. Here are his stats:
Height: 28 1/2 inches (97%)
Weight: 18 lbs 11 oz (72%)

And a few pics I took of him on Saturday:

Living.

It has been a crazy month! October was my most busy Marching Band month, with games, extra rehearsals, and competition. Scott got his wisdom teeth out a couple weeks ago, then we went on vacation for a week. We've been home almost a week and I am still trying to catch up. Then, I had my wisdom teeth out on Wednesday, and Scott is having Lasik surgery on his eyes next week. Needless to say there have been lots of doctor appointments and such lately! Plus we've been busy getting ready for the Primary Program on Sunday (I'm the chorister). Anyway, it's been crazy and I have lots of pics that I will hopefully get a chance to post soon. Just wanted everyone to know we're still alive!

Uh-Oh!

My girls were never recreational rollers. Cerise could barely roll, she was so chubby, and Morgan was just so darned content to just lay there like a lump that neither of them ever rolled out of anything short of necessity. They would roll over just so they could sit back up, or to get out of tummy time (which all my kids have hated). Because of this, neither of my girls were mobile until they could crawl, which ended up being 7 and almost 10 months old.

Well, Tyson just turned 5 months old this past week and on his "birthday" had only rolled over maybe 3 times EVER. Yesterday I came home from a marching band competition to a baby who rolls around the house to get wherever he wants to go, tummy to back and back to tummy. He is a non-discriminating roller now. This means that my 5-month old is MOBILE!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess I should get off the computer and go baby-proof my house.

5 going on 15 (or 25!)

Last week Cerise came home from school and told me: "I'm in love with Tanner. But so is Mia and Emma. Tanner says he doesn't love any of us. I guess we'll just have to see who gets him first!"

Then, on Saturday, the following conversation occurred:

Cerise: "I'm in love with Levi. I think I'll marry him. Should I tell him?"
Me (who thinks Levi isn't the best influence on her): "I thought you were in love with Tanner?"
Cerise: "I think I'm in love with both of them."
Me: "You know you can have boys that are just friends, right? You don't have to be in love with them."
Cerise: "But Mo-om! I HAVE to find a HUSBAND!!!"

Ugh. What are we going to do when she's a teenager?!?

Marching Band (I mean football) Season is Upon Us!

We took the kids to the football game the other night to watch my band. It was freezing, but the girls had fun and Tyson was really cute laughing at Cerise.

And, just a random cute pic of Tyson I took last week. His look is so intense sometimes!

Morgan is Three!!!

I can't believe my girl is THREE! She is getting so big (although still tiny!). She loves everything princess and babies, and would spend all day reading books if we'd do it! She is so sweet and loving and nurturing. And she is SO funny! LOVE that girl!

Morgan wanted a Princess cake for her birthday, so Cerise and I tried our hand at making a couple. Cerise decorated the dark-haired one with very little assistance. I think it turned out better than the one I did! Scott and I couldn't decide what to get her for her birthday, and finally settled on a big girl bike (although in red, not pink, so it could be handed down!) She was SO excited! She also got a BIG (20 inch) baby from Grandma that she carries around everywhere. It freaks me out whenever I see it laying unattended on the couch, since it is almost as big as Tyson.

She had her 3 year Well-Check a couple days after her birthday, and although she is still tiny, she is consistent what what she has been since starting on her laxatives. Her doctor just laughed at all the funny things Morgan had to say while we were there. Here are her stats:

Height: 35 inches (7th Percentile)
Weight: 27 pounds (13th Percentile)
